What’s in your closet?

Have an unorganized closet? Well here are some ways to have an organized closet in no time! First Step: Organizing Drawers: -Set apart pants from tops -Have separate drawers for shorts and jeans -Have separate drawers for short sleeve and long sleeve -Set clothes like file cabinet Enjoy!

Do you have a closet full of clothes yet nothing to wear? Are you….

  • Single again?
  • A new mom?
  • Retired and busier than ever?
  • Experiencing weight gain or loss?**
  • Feeling frumpy and overwhelmed by your closet?
  • A new mom?
  • Spending too much time and money trying to get dressed for the look you want?

You may already have the perfect pieces you need, hidden away in your closet.     As The Closet Consult, I will show you how to maximize the clothes you have, and teach you how to shop to fill in the gaps.  We will eliminate, or re-invent as we go through, piece by piece.

THE EVALUATION

Simply submit pictures of each closet, drawers, etc. and email them to me for an initial evaluation. Not computer savvy? I’ll do a preliminary in-home evaluation, which takes about an hour.

THE EDIT

For the client who simply needs an organizational jump-start and fashion forward inspiration to facilitate easy dressing every day.

First, we remove all items to be reviewed and place them on a garment rack. Then we discuss:

  • Styles that work best for your body shape
  • The proper fit
  • Colors and fabrics that will make you look your best

Once we determine what stays in your closet,  I will re-organize these items into outfits.
This makes getting dressed and out the door effortless.

This is a thorough re-organization and assessment of what should be kept, altered, or donated.  I will review everything in your closet and bureaus including belts, handbags, shoes, and fashion jewelry.  No items will be ignored.  Coat closets included!

After the wardrobe edit and organization is complete, everything is left in perfect order.  I will make navigating your new and improved closet a piece of cake. Together we will put together outfits with your items, right there in your closet!

CLOSING THE GAPS

After the EVALUATION and THE EDIT,  a list of additional needs will be created. They may be as simple as updating basic t-shirts, to adding must haves such as sweaters, the perfect handbag, shoes, and accessories that complete your special look.

If the look you drean of isn’t already in your closet, I will work with your budget to bring in items that you can build upon. I will help you look your best, so you can begin each day with confidence and style.

NO TIME TO SHOP?  Let me do it for you quickly and precisely. While shopping for my clients I always keep their lifestyle in mind, making sure that each look is able to translate, from desk to dinner.

As a long time SHOP GIRL, I am wise to the best prices, events, and sales.  I’ll bring along all promotional coupons, sale flyers, etc available for you to maximize your purchase power and wardrobe. I will always respect your unique style, and budget.

**If alterations are needed, I can set up and appointment with my onsite tailor. They will determine whether  or not an item can be altered, or re-styled.  You can receive a quote on the spot, then decide if it stays or goes.
